Assalam Alaik & hello everyone!
Have you ever tried Tteubokki? It's a Korean food, it's like Malaysian's Yong Tau Foo but way spicier. I once tried it before, there's one stall selling Tteubokki and other Korean food at Time Square's food court. Sorry, could not remember the stall's name, tawaf aje lah ye dekt food court dia tu mesti jumpa. Sedap! I ordered Tteubokki with cheese, the rate pun okay la.
Anyways, I have been craving for it for like almost a week (blame the monthly craves!) tapi nak pergi Time Square macam jauh dan sesak, I also saw one stall selling it at Publika, tapi sampai rumah je baru teringat nak beli pfft. So decided to make one on my own since tak susah pun buat dia.
Okay, bahan-bahan dan caranya seperti dibawah (recipe as below):-
1. Korean Chili Paste (2 tbs)
2. Rice Cake (depends on no of serving)
3. Veges (any vege is okay)
4. Anchovy broth (or real anchovies)
5. fish ball or fish cake
6. Soy sauce (1 tbs)
7. Sugar (2 tbs)
Broth anchovy or real anchovies + water + medium high heat
Prepare veges, rice cake, fish cake, fish ball.
Take out the anchovies (if you're using it to make the broth) + sauce ingredients (1,6,7)
Once the sauce boiled + rice cake + 10 mins
Rice cake became soft & the sauce thickened + veges + fish ball + fish cake
Stir everything for another 5 mins, well, you may try the sauce taste and adjust it if you need to.
Remember, Tteubokki rasanya pedas-pedas manis ye!
Selamat mencuba! xx
